Financial Loan Programs
DATI offers two financial loan programs, the Delaware Assistive Technology Loan Program (DATLP) and the Delaware Telework Equipment Loan Program (DTELP), in order to help Delawareans get the devices and services that they need and want. Both programs enable individuals to borrow funds for purchases at below-market interest rates and with reasonable repayment schedules.
General loan information:
- Reasonable rates
- Loan terms may not exceed the expected life of the product being purchased
- $500 is the loan minimum and $30,000 is the loan maximum
- Applicants must show that they can repay the loan in monthly installments
- All sources of income may be considered
- We are particularly interested in helping individuals with low income
Delaware Assistive Technology Loan Program
The DATLP provides funds for all types of AT, home modifications, and adapted vehicles. If you would like more information regarding the AT Loan Program, please contact the DATI Funding Specialist.
DATLP loan specifics:
- Delaware residents of all ages with disabilities of all types are eligible
- Seniors with age-related functional limitations are eligible
- Family members may also apply
Delaware Telework Equipment Loan Program
The DTELP provides funds for the purchase of office equipment—computers, fax machines, office furniture—as well as home modifications and/or to purchase any type of equipment that an entrepreneur or an employee with a disability needs to work effectively from home.
